Yesterday, I had the pleasure of watching Derby County Football Club take on Swansea from the exclusive Captains Club Hospitality Lounge at Pride Park Stadium. While the result on the pitch may not have gone our way, the overall experience was nothing short of exceptional!
From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The atmosphere in the lounge was vibrant, and the food was fantastic both before and after the match—making for a perfect matchday experience. A huge thank you to Laurrie Richardson for organising everything and ensuring the evening was a memorable one. If you’re looking for a premium way to enjoy a Derby County game, I highly recommend reaching out to Laurrie for hospitality tickets. Whether your team wins or loses, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable night.
The night was made even better by the company I had the privilege of sharing it with. I had the chance to connect with some incredible people, including Ian Morgan OBE, Pete Collins, Paul Newman and of course, Laurrie Richardson. Conversations flowed as smoothly as the evening, making it a truly special occasion.
A big thank you to Derby County FC for the warm hospitality and for making the night one to remember. Seeing the club flourish today is especially meaningful, as in January 2022, we led a 10,000-person march to keep the club out of administration when Mel Morris owned it. This movement was covered extensively in the press, including Sky News and BBC. The club was later bought by David Clowes, and witnessing this journey from fighting for its survival to now enjoying its success is a truly proud moment.
Here’s to the next match and many more fantastic experiences at Pride Park! ⚽
