🍽️🚗 I had the pleasure of catching up with Robert Ellis, co-owner of Darleys Restaurant in Derby, and what a trip down memory lane it was! 🥂

It’s incredible how time flies. Over 11 years ago, Robert used to run the Infusion sandwich bar in Derby, which, sadly, is now closed—but the memories of those delicious bites still linger! Back then, he also operated a mobile food van that regularly parked at Albatross Cars. I was a frequent customer, happily ordering everything off the menu—yes, it was THAT good! 😋

Fast forward to December 2019, and Robert and his team took over the renowned Darleys Restaurant. The moment I walked in, he recognised me instantly! It’s always heartwarming to reconnect with familiar faces, especially in such a stunning setting. 🤗

Darleys Restaurant has truly become a gem in Derby’s dining scene, thanks to Robert and his team’s dedication and passion. Situated along the River Derwent, it boasts a beautiful riverside terrace and serves British and European dishes with a modern twist.
