Last night, I had the privilege of attending the Derby County Community Trust Awards—a true celebration of the incredible work the Trust does in our community. Their commitment to making a difference is inspiring, and it was humbling to witness the impact they’re having across Derbyshire. It was also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with some familiar faces from the Trust—people who have been working closely with Albatross Cars and our drivers for many years. Last night, I had the privilege of attending the Derby County Community Trust Awards, an evening dedicated to recognising the incredible work being done to uplift and support communities across Derbyshire. From grassroots sports to wellbeing initiatives, the Trust continues to make a real difference in people’s lives, and it was humbling to witness just how far their efforts reach.

🌙 A Night of Inspiration

The event was more than just an awards ceremony—it was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when people come together for a common cause. Seeing individuals and organisations being celebrated for their contributions to health, inclusion, and education reaffirmed how vital community-driven initiatives are. Whether it’s supporting young people through sport or providing essential outreach programmes, the Trust’s impact is truly inspiring.

For years, we have worked closely with Derby County Community Trust, supporting their efforts in various ways.
