At Albatross Cars, we know that driving for long hours can take a toll on physical health. That’s why we’re taking steps to encourage our drivers to stay active, and what better way to do it than through sport? Thanks to Derby County Community Trust, we recently had our first badminton session at Derby Arena in Pride Park—and it was a fantastic experience!

Being on the road all day can make it difficult to find time for fitness, but we believe that staying active is crucial for both physical and mental well-being. With the help of Derby County Community Trust, we’re creating opportunities for our drivers to get moving, have fun, and improve their health.

This badminton session wasn’t just about fitness—it was also about team building and camaraderie. Our drivers spend a lot of time working independently, so this was a great chance to come together, support each other, and build stronger relationships off the road. The enthusiasm and energy on the court were infectious, and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Derby Arena in Pride Park provided an outstanding setting for our sessions. With top-quality courts and excellent facilities, it’s the ideal place to stay active and have fun while improving overall fitness.

We’re incredibly grateful to Derby County Community Trust for organising everything and making this initiative possible. Their commitment to promoting health and well-being across the community is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to be working alongside them to make a difference.

This is just the beginning! We’re committed to helping our drivers stay fit, active, and healthy, and we’re excited to continue these sessions. Whether it’s through badminton, football, or other activities, we believe that investing in well-being is key to long-term success.

A big thank you again to Derby County Community Trust for their support—we can’t wait for the next session!
